Here's to a new fresh beginning.
My five 1-inch incisions are healing up quite nicely. Every day I get better and better. It has now been just over 2 weeks. I did end up overdoing it this weekend with some house cleaning which pulled something in my stomach but I will be just fine. I am anxious for my post operation check up tomorrow Jan. 15, 2013. Exactly 2 months from my 1st surgery. I feel good about the plan of action the doctor had originally set for us. My large fibroid had been misshaping the tube to resemble a noodle. We are hoping that goes back into place by itself. He wants to do another test on my remaining tube to make sure it is now functioning properly. After the tube test is complete and if all systems are a-go he wants us to try again within 2 to 3 months time. If we are not pregnant within 6 months then we will sit down and talk about our other options. I knew that there is always a chance for IVF however it cost $15K for not even a 100% guarantee. We will just have to cross that decision making bridge when we get there. For now I am optimistic that our trouble are going to be behind us. We will be parents to our own baby one day.
